Oscars So Fashionable! Check Out The Looks We Loved From Oscars 2020!

Every year there’s tons of controversy about the nominations at the academy awards. The main issue is the lack of minority nominations and this year the underlining issue was the absence of female nominations. The silver lining was Hair Love’s win and a refreshing win for Parasite and Bong Joon-ho. While many were troubled with the politics of the show, we were in aw of the looks! Every award show brings interesting fashions but the Oscars bring out the best of threads. The most expensive fabrics and jewels and of course HAIR grace the red carpet and hot after parties.

Everyone came dressed to kill but we had to highlight our favorite individual looks, hair and couples of the evening.

Starting with Halima Aden, a pageant girl turned model, she shinned on the Vanity Fair carpet in her spectacular modest fashion! It was such a modern take on a look aligned with her morals and religious values.

Next up is our girl Janelle Monae! Another woman who chooses to challenge fashion norms and move to the beat of her own drum. She wore a long sleeve, hoodie, backless sparkly gown that gave a subtle futuristic vibe.

Adriana Lima and Cynthia Erivo both sported one strap embellished gowns in shades of white.

Of course we couldn’t forget our girl Ciara, who truly possessed the pregnant glow on the carpet. It was her relaxed hairstyle that really added to the overall glow and comfortability of the three time mom.

Check out the couples who dazzled!

And last but not least our leading lady in green, Lala! Her hair was styled by our very own Celebrity hair stylist, Kiyah Wright.
